Our Reschedule / Cancellation / Missed Appointment Policy
NOTICE EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024
At Discover Chiropractic, we aim to provide excellent care in a timely manner. Our goal is to ensure practice members respect both theirs, ours, and all other practice member schedules to ensure we can accommodate all individuals with excellence. We do understand that illness, emergencies, flat tires, Atlanta traffic and bad weather conditions do occur. We ask that our patients give us 24 hours’ notice if they cannot keep an appointment and reschedule on the SKED app in that timeframe. If an EMERGENCY falls within the cancellation / reschedule policy please contact us directly at 770-389-4744 or text us directly via SKED app. This allows us time to fill our schedule with other patients who may be waiting as a walk in status. We appreciate your understanding regarding our cancellation and missed / failed appointment policy.
Cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment with 24 hours or more notice will result in NO CHARGE.
A missed appointment is an appointment where a patient does not reschedule / cancel as stated above nor communicate via phone, text, email as to why the appointment cannot be attended. A missed appointment will result in a $15 charge to be debited via card on file the following morning.
After 3 missed appointments in a row, the patient’s calendar of appointments will be deleted and the account will be audited for reconciliation. Patients can resume care at any time following clear communication with our office and the cancellation policy will be reset at that time.
If you choose to receive a service without a scheduled appointment as a “walk-in” status, please be advised that any patient who has a “scheduled” appointment will be seen as priority. This means that patients who arrive / check in after you may be seen before you as they have a scheduled appointment.
If you have disabled your SKED app / notifications, you should ENABLE the app for proper communication with our office.
If you have any questions / concerns regarding your appointment calendar, please speak to a team member and he/she will happily assist you.
To reschedule / cancel an appointment, please use your SKED APP. The app will allow you to change / reschedule / move to a later time if delayed in regards to your appointment at any given time.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT BEING CONSISTENT WITH YOUR CARE WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST RESULTS.
